Installation failed topic

Installation failed

Ok don't worry I'll explain this in detail and also says solution for that

1)Installation failed
For apps installing through playstore
*You may need to clear cache and data of the Google Play Store app on your device. Go to: Settings  → Applications  → Application manager (or find the Google Play Store in the list)  → Google Play Store app  → Clear Cache, Clear Data.

*It is also possible to uninstall the Google Play updates and roll back the app version to fix the issue. Go to: Settings  → Applications  → Google Play Store app  → Uninstall updates

*After that go to the Google Play Store and download app again.
(i have faced mx player & tried this and it works for me)

*Allow Apps from Unknown Sources

This is the most common issue which could cause the error on mobile or tablet.
Go to Settings → Security → Unknown Sources. Enable Unknown Sources. And then try installing App.

2)Sdk version Issues

Apps won't install due to not supported sdk target versions... Ok check the image for reference of sdk version codes

So change target sdk ver code to your device api level code
Through this 90% of apps solves this issue to installation failed..
For this we can use apkeditor or apktool m...

I recommend you to use apktool M
Because it's very effective in my view...

1)Click the downloaded or your modded app or extracted app(some apps not install after backup form your device)
2)select Quick edit option
3)now try to change Target sdk version

4)after changing sdk ver matches to your device then click save
5)done.. now now try to install itπŸ˜‹

3)App Bundles APK

If the APK file is Split into App bundles, ‘App Not Installed‘, is the error you will face if you try installing APK. Make sure the File is Not Split APK App Bundle.

Ok you don't know how to check the app is split apk... Then open apktool m and select apps installed on your device and check the com name if it has split before pkg name then it is split apk

Also

If you decompile an app in AndroidManifest.xml you can see
Android isSplitrequired="true"

Then it is splited apks

Note: Make sure you have installed all the APK files necessary to install the App using Split APK Installer.

Here are the Steps to Install App Bundles Split APK File Using an Example.
Step 1. Download All the APK Files viz. Base APK, Config Archi APK or any other APK File if Listed.

Step 2. Now Download and Install Split APK from Play Store.

Step 3. Click on Install APKs Button.

Step 4. Locate the Files and Select All the Files.Install_APKs_with_SAI
Step 5. Now Click on Select.

Step 6. Now you will an Installation box, click Install and Done!

4)unsigned Apk

Maybe you have unsigned apk so try to sign it using aoktool m or aoksigner or apkmodifier

Note:sometimes after changing target sdk ver plz sign it then it can be installed on your device

4)lib or arch issues

If you downloaded any app on internet and sometimes it's not get installed due to maybe missing the arch or lib files which your device supports

So check inside apk file by decompile it
Weather it has lib files or not or have different lib files...
If app has no lib file of our device arch then add inside it
(download lib files from apkcombo website)

5)Reset All the App Preference(for low end devices)

Go to Settings on your Android device.
Open Apps or Apps manager.
check for All Apps.
Tap on the menu icon.
Click on ‘Reset App Preferences’.

6)Clear Data and Cache of Package Installer
(for only few devices it has an issues)

Open setting on your Android device.
Look for the option called Apps or Manage apps and tap on it.
Check for the Package Installer App under system Apps
You will find two option of Clear data and Clear cache. (For Android Marshmallow 6.0 users check for option Storage to clear data and cache)
Clear the data and cache to solve the problem.

Praising errors
Praising errors are caused due to build errors
1)if you are trying to mod split apk without antisplit then after the output app shows this type of errors
2)if you corrupt the files inside apk then also you face this
3)if you are trying to install corrupted app also cause

For Root Devices
If you have a rooted phone than the success rate increases manifolds.

Download and open any root explorer app on your rooted device.
Copy the Apk then go to system >app and grant permissions to the app.
You will see App installed on your device.

Using Lucky Patcher
Download, install and open Lucky Patcher (Google Search to Download File)
Tap the option Toolbox
Click Patch to android
Check “Signature Verification status always true” and “Disable apk Signature Verification” and Apply.
Reboot your device if not automatically rebooted.

. Clear Storage/Set Path

Clear some storage space on the device. Make sure SD Card has properly mounted if the file in located in SD Card.

I also recommend downloading the file in internal storage as downloading some types of APK files in external storage may sometimes cause issues due to improper read by package installer of Android OS.

Download the file from any other source in case the file itself is corrupted.

 Other Miscellaneous Fixes

Delete .android_secure/smdl2tmpl.asec file from your SD Card.
Reboot the phone and even remove the battery if possible.
Uninstall all previous versions of the app or apps with the same resemblance currently installed on your device.
Remove the SD card and also do not connect your device to a PC while you install the apk.
Free up some space, uninstall unnecessary apps.
